Where can I find and change the IMAP server settings. I have looked under Accounts Server Settings. It simply has a choice box for Outgoing Mail Account

You must open the mail app go to accounts and choose the email account and pen settings and it in your password. Go to outgoing mail and choose iCloud as your outgoing mail server. Apple wants it that way they want you to use iCloud as your outgoing mail server it is just that way and then you can verify that the connections is working by opening connections. Good luck.
Thanks James When I go to accounts I see the Account Information showing the correct email address. Enable this account is checked. When I look at Serve Settings all I see is "Outgoing Mail Account Icloud". Nothing else on the page.
I finally got in touch with Apple support. Christina worked very hard at this and straightened it out. I am not exactly sure how.
I am setting up mail with icloud. Mail cannot connect to the IMAP server. Apparently the server settings are done automatically and I cannot find how to check or change them
