How to change the color of text labels on the home screen (iOS16)?

Even though I now have nice white letters on my lock screen (day/date/time), on my home screen all labels are black. I'd like them white in both places. (Ditto for the info on the top of the each screen, like carrier name, WiFi icon, time, battery %.)

iPhone SE, iOS 16

The color of the text labels are automatically selected by the iOS depending on the color scheme that is chosen when setting up the wallpaper / background. There is no manual correction/adjustment available.

Furthermore, You can suggest this feature directly to Apple by leaving a product feedback here 👉Product Feedback - Apple

Eureka, I found it!

I was bemoaning the fact that even though I selected a dark background with white font on the lock screen that it transferred to the home screen(s) as the same dark background but with a black font.

HOWEVER, after customizing the lock screen, if I customize the home screen(s) and choose the same dark color, it then uses a white font.

No, the lock screen I can change the font and colors and did but there is no option to change the color of the text under the apps on the home screen,it just defaults to white. Its really annoying I've watched many youtube vids but they ALL only cover the lock screen options. I want the options to change text and color of the HOME Screen Apps.

Ah. So you want pink titles on the home screen? Yeah, I think iOS16 only does black or white, depending on which contrasts the most with the chosen home screen color. Sorry!

Only other comment I can think of: @Alex Foley above suggested: "Furthermore, You can suggest this feature directly to Apple by leaving a product feedback here 👉Product Feedback - Apple ."

Thanks, Alex.

It seems odd that they apply the background from the lock screen to the home screen(s), but they don't apply the text color from the lock screen. To take it to an extreme, I tired a black background, and the home screen titles are basically invisible. (I had read old Apple support discussions where changing to a dark color would flip the text to white, and then keep it white when you subsequently flipped back to a lighter color. It apparently doesn't work that way in iOS 16.)

I lightened the shade of blue a bit so the black letters are a bit easier to read, but I really orefer the dark blue with white letters.

I did watch some YouTube videos with bloggers talking about iOS 16, and I notice some of them have white letters. I wonder how the heck *they* got them.
