Yes. While you are on the call, you will see the active phone call on top left of your screen. This will be highlighted in GREEN. Tap on it and that will open up the phone app where it will allow you to tap on SPEAKER.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by the “Speaker icon”? Is there a particular app that you are referring to?

It doesn’t go to speaker when you remove your AirPods from your ear. It will go to the regular speaker (internal) until you switch the phone call to the speaker manually.

my iPhone 11 doesn’t toggle between EarPods and speaker. Is there an icon for speaker or why isn’t the sound coming out coming out when I remove my EarPods. Is there a button to turn it on?
When you remove the AirPods out of your ears, then the music/sound is paused. It does not transfer to the iPhone internal speakers. Once your AirPods are put away then you again press play again and the music/sound will play on iPhone speaker.

that's exactly what i'm trying to figure out how to do. is there an icon for speaker phone? is there a simple way to just toggle to speaker from ear phones? or even be on speaker when i make a call. my speaker works if i call siri. so i know its working, it just doesn't go to speaker automatically when i make a phone call. its available to choose when i first make the call, but once it goes to the contact, the speaker page disappears. is there a way to get it back?
What about a phone call. If I remove ear pods why doesn’t it go to speaker.
