MacBook Air Cursor is stuck

I’m trying to sign back into my MacBook, but my cursor is stuck so I can’t click on my user. I tried restarting my computer multiple times and even using another USB mouse, but it won’t respond to anything

I can get a few opening screens which seem normal but my cursor is stuck in upper left side and i cannot enter passcode with my keys I can get a few dufferent normal opening screens but my cursor wont move from the upper left corner and my keys wont type in my passcode. Whats up w my macbook air?

Keyboard and trackpad I have recently been having an issue on my older macbook pro. When i turn on the device my cursor is locked on the top left part of the screen and the trackpad won’t let me move it. If i plug in my mouse then i can move the cursor around but my keyboard also doesn’t work. So i cannot type my password in. As far as i can tell the only button that registers is the power button. When this first started i would turn my computer off and on and it would usually fix itself right away. But for the past few days no matter how many times i reset or shut down it wont let me use my keys. Has anyone had a problem similar if so what did you do. I was supposed to have a meeting at the genius bar today but they just canceled and i have to fix this asap because of school work

Frozen Cursor Cursor stuck in upper left corner of iMac. Safe reboot did not change the situation. Any recommendations?

Hi,

Hold down the power button for up to 10 seconds until your Mac shuts down, then boot normally.
