MacBook Air Cursor is stuck

I’m trying to sign back into my MacBook, but my cursor is stuck so I can’t click on my user. I tried restarting my computer multiple times and even using another USB mouse, but it won’t respond to anything

Hi,

Hold down the power button for up to 10 seconds until your Mac shuts down, then boot normally.

I have a 2011 MacBook Pro I decided to install a Wacom driver and after the installation it restarted my MacBook and now I can’t move the cursor to even log in. Cannot click on either trackpad or apple usb mouse Macbook Air Model A1466, OS: 10.14.3 (18D42) Left or right click does not do anything; can move cursor just fine and scroll up with three fingers to see different windows. keyboard also works just fine. tried using an apple usb mouse(A1152). also cannot click but can move cursor. Have tried resetting the SMC and PRAM, restarting multiple times by holding down the power button. Boot into Safe Boot and still cannot click. Have tried logging into multiple accounts with admin permissions. tried booting into recovery mode and startup disk select; cannot click there either despite moving cursor.
