can i migrate from catalina to monterey

I have a 2014 Macbook Pro running Catalina 10.15.7. I just purchased a new Macbook Pro running Monterey. I can't upgrade to Monterey on my old Macbook Pro because I don't have enough hard drive space. Can I migrate old to new with the two different OS?
