Why does lightning to headphone not work with earphones and iphone13?

Hi MsMBF,
To clarify, do you have a pair of Lightning connector enabled EarPods or other wired headphones? Or are you using a Lightning to 3.5mm adapter with a pair of normal headphones?
In either case, make sure the Lightning port is free of debris or lint that may cause an issue with the connection.
Additionally, does your iPhone charge via Lightning cable or does it seems to also have trouble?
