battery warning shutting down my iphone

My XSMAX is suddenly (this week) telling me that my battery is not authentic and rebooting constantly. Since the "gotta have" update 15.6.1. I reset (no help) then updated to 16. All was well for a few (5) hours but then, as the battery discharged, the warning reappeared and so did the rebooting.

My question is: How can I stop this without buying an iPhone 14 ASAP?

The problem has nothing to do with a software version. It is a hardware problem, and it can only be resolved by having the battery replaced→iPhone Battery Replacement - Official Apple Support
