Billing problem with a previous purchase error

Hi, I'm having the message said in the title show up whenever I try to update or download any apps. I've had it happen before, I know it's because of an unpaid balance as that's what it was the last time. Thing is, I haven't bought anything and checked my purchases and subscriptions and there's nothing pending. So I have no clue why it's saying there's an issue with that. I also no longer have a card on file, I had one but it had no money on it I believe but that shouldn't have been an issue either considering again I didn't buy anything.

If anyone could help that'd be great!

Unless you have a NONE option in the payment methods, you usually have to have a valid payment method entered in your account details. Even for free apps or to update apps.

If the system thinks you have a defaulted payment, it won't let you use the account.

You need to solve this with Apple directly.
