Problems with Keychain

When I create a new password for a website and ask to have it saved in Keychain, Keychain sees a different, longer password that doesn't work. Is there a way to make it work?

iMac 27″, macOS 12.6

Never mind. I solved it myself by creating my own password instead of letting Apple select one.
