Viber App after iOS 16

Before iOS 16, you can change a viber group name or view profile by clicking the name on top of the messenger. After updating to iOS 16, I can no longer do that. Then name appears at first but you can no longer click it like before and after few seconds, the name will allmost disappear or move down. Is this an issue with iOS 16 or Viber must update their app to be compatible with iOS 16?

Name can still be seen but no longer clickable to view profile even if drop down icon still visible

Name goes down halfway and almost disappear after few seconds

Check for app updates, and download the most current version.

Then contact the app vendor support team for assistance with or issues with a third-party app.

They know the status, known bugs, and plans and schedules for their app best.

or Viber must update their app to be compatible with iOS 16?

Yes. Viber has had many months to update their app using the development software provided by Apple to app developers. The app should have been ready when iOS 16 was introduced.

Thanks! 🙏🏻 Good to know the developer shares the app to other prior release in order to be compatible but unfortunately, Viber seems delayed resulting to this slight issue..👍

Appreciate the response 🙏🏻 I already checked for any app updates but there’s none. I also unistalled/installed the app to get the latest version but the issue remains.

Will just have to wait for the fix then. 👍

This didn't work well to me. I made sure that I backed up my viber and even checked the icloud to ensure that I am covered however, after installing and restoring - most of my messages are gone :(
