Wireless headphone distorted after taking the call

I'm using iPhone 13 Max Pro.

My wireless headphone distorted after taking the call in 5-10 mins. Need to disconnect the headset and again reconnect back in few mins. Any solution for this?

connected with Bose Earbud

iPhone 13 Pro Max, iOS 16

Hello vimalmuthusamy,

Let's test that behavior in another location, if you haven't already done so. That should help to further rule out wireless interference as a contributing factor: Resolve Wi-Fi and Bluetooth issues caused by wireless interference - Apple Support

Should that behavior still persist, does this happen during other tasks, such as listening to music or watching videos?

Have you had the opportunity to test your iPhone with any other headphones? How about testing your earbuds with another device? This will help us to isolate the behavior to either your iPhone, or the ear buds themselves to avoid unnecessary troubleshooting steps.

Good luck i have talked to several techs the past 2 hears with no help i did better talking to my little 5 year old nephew lol and i even replaced my airpods still not the issue.I been dealing with this issue for 2 years ever since i got the iphone 12. While talking on my apple airpod pro they get very static and go out but after i tap on the phone or tap lightly on the airpod in my air it come back but it continues again after 10min. And same issues when playing my apple music same situation. What i noticed after doing my own technical research this only happens when im home connected to my home wifi/internet. When im out the house at work etc phone and airpods work fine. I believe the issue is with the wifi frequency channel and need to be changed to lower channel. U can try that and see if your issue is fix.

Do you have VPN on your phone? I had a program that was connected through VPN (even though it was turned off). I uninstalled this VPN, did a hard reset of the phone and uninstalled the program. I haven't had that issue since and even though I have the exact same program on my old phone where I have no issues. Unfortunately this just proves to me that Apple are slipping and don't have the same quality it once did.

Hey there vimalmuthusamy,

To help further isolate the cause for this behavior, do you experience the same call quality issue when taking calls without using headphones? Do you experience the issue in all locations and on all calls?

If the issue happens when not using headphones, there may be a network issue you'll want to address with your wireless carrier. Conversly, if the issue only occurs on calls with specific contacts or in specific locations, the issue could be related to network quality where the calls are being made.

Should you still require help, you may want to Contact Apple Support.

Have a good one!

I have the exact same issue and have been in contact with Apple in Sweden (where I live) and after 3,5 month they are still stalling and I think I'm on my 4th or 5th senior advisor as nothing happens and they "forget" to send the report to the technichians. I use Airpods pro and I have updated the software for them in an Apple store and I have dealt with this issue over the past 2-3 ios updates and nothing changes it. As I now also have to talk on speaker phone as this is my work phone and have had customers hang up on me because they can't hear what I say I have now found out that ppl are having a hard time hearing what I say on speaker as well. The issue on the speaker is not noticable to me whereas the airpod one is. I had one of the senior advisors complain to me when the problem started while we were on the phone as he couldn't hear what I was saying...

Is this a common issue? My phone was bought in May and the airpods pro worked without any issue on my on Iphone X.

The issue starts on phonecalls and it doesn't matter if it is regular phonecalls, Whats app calls or Discord calls. It can happen at any time and any moment. Never for music, audiobooks or anything else. Just calls.

I've had two sets of airpods pro replaced and they have replaced everything but the camera and front screen (according to the apple store I took my phone to). The problem still happens. I have changed to E-sim, I have talked to the phoneprovider and they can't find anything wrong either.

I have now switched back to my old Iphone X with the same sim card and the same Air pods pro and haven't had an issue for the 1.5 weeks I've been using it. I even use the backup from my 13 max pro on my X.

But there is nothing wrong with the Iphone 13 Max Pro...

No this issue isn't solved. I was called from Apple and they asked me for logs after installing a Bluetooth installer. Even when speaking with them the issue occured and all these were recorded. Finally they said the team will analyse and get back.

It's almost a month and eben after my repeated emails to them I haven't received any response or solution.

It's so frustrating going for one of the renowned mobile and nothing has been solved until now.

I have the same problem

Headphones: AirPods 1

Phone: SE, 12 Pro, 13 mini

When talking on any of the messengers, over cellular communication (3g, LTE).

I tried to turn off Wi-Fi, change priority from LTE to 3g, speak only on one of the headphones, use the microphone of a particular earphone, reconnect the headphones to the phone, restart the phone.

Maybe I did something else, but nothing helped...
