iOS 16 on iPhone 8
I update my iPhone 8 to iOS 16 but why does the “Depth Effect are not working? I have tried different images to try it but none of the photos work. I want it badly.

As per the iOS 16 User Manual,
On iPhone XS, iPhone XR, and later, use the Depth Control slider to adjust the level of background blur in your Portrait mode photos.
So your iPhone 8 does not have the necessary hardware for this feature to be available
