I am using my camera to take images of different types of fabric. When I point the camera at the subject I get a true image on the screen. Over the next second or two the colour drains from the screen image and the photos come out looking desaturated.
It is doing this automatically. What is the fix for this?

I'm just pointing and clicking. I can change the warmth, cool, rich contrast et. The image looks fine for a second or two and the colour is all washed out.
I tap the screen and adjust the exposure but all that does it lighten or darken the washed out colour I have.
I am using the camera for work. I need to take the images as quickly as possible with minimal time in photoshop.
Did you check the settings for focus, exposure and filters?
