I’ve already done that and all they do is deny it and the reasoning is because they say that it’s the company’s responsibility everyone’s just passing the buck how do I contact a manager calling? I did not mean to push that it was satisfied and complete
Sorry, but if Apple decides, that you can't be given a refund, there is nothing you can do about it. In almost all cases this decision is final.
However, you could ask to speak to a Senior Support Adviser at Apple, if you call them again. Maybe they can explain the reason for not granting the refund.
I have been a buyer of Duolingo since early 2021 (Jan or Feb) and I pay a yearly subscription. At the end of July, my niece asked to learn Spanish, and I got an offer for a family plan. So instead of them charging me the different. I'm now charged for a single and family account..... which is ridiculous. I asked for a partial refund and every time I do try to go through the "process" they give me a full refund. I don't want to lose the app for my family on my plan, but it also isn't right that I have already paid it for an individual earlier in the year and then charged as a brand new customer at a higher rate. I've reached out four times to no avail. Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Did you also try to contact the developer of the app and ask them how to get the those subscriptions merged?
