Hello. Fresh install of iOS 16, not restored from backup, when plugged into CarPlay, the device gets VERY hot. Has anyone else encountered this? Closed background apps, restarted, etc. Nick

I went to the Apple store and visited the Genius Bar. They completely restored my phone and then I did a backup from the iCloud back up. It seems to of worked and I no longer have the phone getting hot anymore.
How do I use the wireless version of car play
My 13mini updated to iOS16.5 still has this issue. It's noticeably hot while connecting AppleCarplay. Hope Apple cares enough to fix it.
Just got a 14 pro, because I thought my 11 pro was dying/battery was on fritz. The 14 pro heats up FASTER on CarPlay! I'm an uber driver, this is a serious issue!
I have the iPhone Xs Max and it gets really hot while using WiFi and same happens to my wife’s iPhone. Apple needs to get this seriously before some one gets injured.
