activation lock on macbook but staff who was using it has left company

I got a MacBook for my staff. She has left the company and not reachable.

She was using an Apple ID but she says she just set up the Apple ID for the company and cant remember password etc.

The Mac Hadaf data erased BUT we cant reboot it now it is asking for the Apple ID (which I have) and the password which I do not.

Its a company asset and we cant use it?
