Monterey can only be installed on 2015 and later MacBook Pros. See: macOS Monterey is compatible with these computers - Apple Support

OK to upgrade to Ventura on MacBook Pro purchased 12/9/17?? Is Ventura 13.1 solid now? I have a MacBook Pro 13" with 512 Gbytes of memory. It was purchased in December 2017. Upgrade Memory of MacBook Air A1465/A1466 I have two older MacBooks (13" 2014 MacBook Air and an 11" 2014 MacBook Air) with 8GB of RAM. I upgraded the HDs to SSDs, and that is making a dramatic difference. I am wondering will those two MacBooks support up to 16GB of memory? Any suggestions will be helpful.
