How do I get access to all my photos in "Media photos" when uploading to a website on my iMac

I'm trying to upload photos to a website from my iMac

All my photos and videos are in my photos, but when I go to upload a photo to a website, I click on photos, Media Photos, and there are only a select few photos and videos available to upload.

On my phone and iPad, I have access to all the photos and videos to upload to a website.

How do I fix this?

My iMac 24 - inch M1 2021 (not sure on the 2 ports)

Thank you

iMac 24″, macOS 12.5

Are you using iCloud photos? With optimise mac storage?

If so - any photos which are optimised (stored only in iCloud) are not available for upload. In this case you need to first export them to a folder using file>export and upload from the folder.

Or you can force a temporary download from iCloud by opening them full size - or for edit.
