fix Mail please. A seemingly random email should not be the opening of the app. The random email in my case causes me heartbreak. Deleting it would cause me more. If I open a mail app I want an inbox not a tombola.

Can I be confident all emails are being received and those sent have been sent?

Random Mail stuck in Outbox (iPhone) We are a large enterprise using the native iOS Mail pointed to an Exchange server. Starting a few months ago we began getting complaints of occasional emails being stuck in the outbox and never sending. We surveyed people and many have this issue and some people have a dozen emails caught. This is still happening (occasionally) on new emails. Most users are iOS 16.5.1. But we think this has happened since maybe March? Are others seeing this?

Are you in the habit of “killing” the email app when you exit from it? If you are, stop doing that. And never do it for any app unless the app is not working properly.
