Updating your iPhone 12 Pro Mac to 16:

If you mean problems after the install, then software incompatibility may occur. You'd contact Developers for assistance. As a user, I am using iOS15.7 and will wait until iOS16.1 is released in October. So, you might want to consider doing the same.
