Hi, I updated to iOS 16 but now the homescreen apps names have a very dark shadow and it looks awful if you use a light wallpaper. It looks dirty. And you can still notice it if you have a dark wallpaper. Is there a way to change this please?

This was a recent change with iOS 16. Currently the only way to adjust this would be to use a darker background or wallpaper.

I have tried to replicate this solution multiple times, but didn’t work! My app icons still have drop-shadow in names.
Can you provide step by step guide, with before and after results?

Honestly, same my dad took my iphone and updated it, so now I have to bear with this ugly shadow. It just kinda ruins the overall look, great job apple 🙄

The shadows are hideous. Please allow us to use black labels or find some other solution like we had in iOS 12.
