Tracfone isn't supporting Iphone 14 at the moment and hopefully that changes. They are on the list apple provides but they support iphone 12 and up excluding 14.
I called and they claimed there is only one department that handles esim. Then when they send you to that department, they want you to switch to StraightTalk but they too dont support iphone 14. It sounded a bit like red line marketing cheesy tacos to me.

You need to ask Tracfone. If you are in the US and they don't support esim, buying a phone in the US will be an expensive mistake.
Really? Just switch carriers! What a courageous response.
I have another idea: don't buy an iPhone 14. Apple decided in all their wisdom for you. You just saved a few hundred bucks by getting a 13 instead!
That makes the most sense. I never understood why anyone would want to pay all of the extra expenses with having a carrier like Verizon or AT&T for a personal line. They like charging a line fee ($20 per line per month?) for no good reason. I have quite a bit of prepaid minutes, texts, and data that I don't want to lose by changing carriers too.
Sounds like the kind of support you can expect from a 3rd rate MVNO.
Might want to consider switching to an actual cellular carrier. Yes, it costs more, but you get what you pay for.
