Screen Not Working Properly, Only the Center of the Screen Works

Only the center of my iPhone screen is responding to touch, I can’t use the edges of my screen. About the last centimeter from the edge of the screen is completely not responding to touch. But my phone is still showing the display like normal.

I tried force resetting it (cause I couldn’t swipe the bar to restart my phone. I was almost locked out since the number pad is so spread out. But I noticed that if I pressed really heard on the screen and held my finger there it would sometimes register that I am using the screen. But once I was into my unlocked phone holding down what application I wanted to use or what key I wanted to press no longer worked. I would really appreciate some help or any feedback on why I have this problem. I use my phone for everything and haven’t backed it up in a while. So this is making me really anxious I could loose everything on my phone.

Thank You

I went to the AT&T store and got a good deal on the new iPhone 14 Pro. I’ll just be replacing my screen on the SE. The helpful man at that helped me said that the screen is not working because the screen layers are separating. So I’ll just replace it, I’ve done it before. I’m lucky that the phone is still working it’s just the physical screen that needs to be replaced. Which will be a pretty simple fix.

Hope this helps anyone that is having this problem too!
