Mail app issue with forwarding attachments

When I forward an email with an attachment the attachment gets hidden behind the body of the email I’m forwarding on. So the receiver can’t see the attachment there. I’ve attached a photo of what it looks like when I go to forward and I am selecting ‘include attachment’ when asked. I’ve played with the settings and cannot get to this fix. Has anyone got any ideas or had this issue and found a solution? It’s driving me nuts and I need to be able to forward these emails from my phone to our guys when out and about.

I don’t have any issues forwarding from my computer. Only my iPhone (13pro).

Hey Renee_Del,

Are these the steps you're using to add the attachment? Add email attachments in Mail on iPhone - Apple Support If not, try to attach the file using those steps.

If the behavior continues, (back up if needed) make sure iOS and apps are up to date: Update your iPhone or iPad - Apple Support
