Thanks for replying, rony-z, and that additional info. After looking into this further, this seems to be related to the Jewish calendar, so please see if your country/region is set to Israel, or if you have a VPN or other network shaping software, that could make it seem your internet connection is from that region:

Hello rony-z,

We want to help with your time on the iPhone.

If you can't change the time or time zone on your Apple device - Apple Support check the steps for your iPhone quoted below:

Make sure that you have the latest version of iOS or iPadOS.
Turn on Set Automatically1 in Settings > General > Date & Time. This automatically sets your date and time based on your time zone.
If a message appears saying that updated time zone information is available, restart your device and any paired Apple Watch.
Allow your device to use its current location to determine the correct time zone. To do this, go to Settings > Privacy > Location Services > System Services and turn on Setting Time Zone.
Check that your device shows the correct time zone in Settings > General > Date & Time > Time Zone.

We hope this helps.

Cheers.

Hey rony-z,

Thanks for reaching back out with those specific details. You can customize the iPhone Lock Screen using the steps here: Personalize your iPhone Lock Screen - Apple Support. It sounds like overall the concern is that the year is appearing as 5782, correct? Under Settings > General > Language & Region > Calendar, which option is selected? Let us know!

Have a great day.

Hey, iphf41752ab8. We’re afraid that an abbreviated day/date isn’t possible at this time.

Personalize your iPhone Lock Screen - Apple Support -- As you can see in this section, the day and month will be completely spelled out just above the time.
