Digital signatures in excel

How can I add a digital signature in excel on my mac? I’m not getting the option under text to add a signature line in excel as the help instructions indicate. What else can I try?

Deleting a signature in Preview I have a Macbook Air M1 with Monterey. I use several signatures in Preview to sign my pdf files. Some are no longer used and I'd like to remove them from the list. If I do this by clicking on the "x" near the signature, it is removed but comes back when I pull down the list again. How can I permanently delete a signature? Thank you for your help. Gof

Blank signature box upon clicking preferences. I'm trying to add a new signature to my email accounts. I open mail app, click preferences, then a blank box appears. No other windows available, just the blank box. Still using Mojave.

In the Excel top menu > Insert > Text > Signature Line

If that does not work, maybe ask in the Microsoft Excel Help Community.
