Digital signatures in excel

How can I add a digital signature in excel on my mac? I’m not getting the option under text to add a signature line in excel as the help instructions indicate. What else can I try?

MacBook Air 11″, macOS 11.6

In the Excel top menu > Insert > Text > Signature Line

If that does not work, maybe ask in the Microsoft Excel Help Community.
