Ever since I updated to ios16 my Carplay screen on my car is blank. (Skoda Superb).

I have just found that I have this issue when I have a VPN turned on. Turning the VPN off resolves the issue seemingly.
Yes express VPN caused the problem. When I switched it off, issue was resolved. It may be the interaction with ios16. It was also affecting my Sonos system at home.
Same on my 2019 Mercedes glc
tried forgetting the car from my car play settings and reconnecting. Still doesn’t work.
Same with my 2019 Skoda Fabia.
