How to install 3rd party transition packs

Hey I'm trying to install 3rd party transition packs to final cut. If I drag and drop them they just show up as videos, not transitions that I can alter. If I go to home-movies-motion templates-transitions and move the folder there, they aren't found inside final cut pro transitions. Any help would be appreciated

How to import templates into Final Cut Pro 11 Ok, so I'm at a loss here. It appears that FCP 11 does not have the same generators, tiles, effects, transitions folders as FCP X. I manually made a generators folder, but the video template still do not show up in the sidebar. I'm sure this is not an oversight with Apple and there is just a different way to import these in? FCP transitions don't show up in FCP I've created the Transitions folder in Motion Templates. I've followed this guide: Installed Transitions will not show up in… - Apple Community but no luck. The folder for each individual transition has a small and large png, a media folder with jpg files, and another file with no extension. I tried adding .motr but it still doesn't work. Title template published in Motion 5.2.2 not showing in FCPX 10.4.6 I can publish the template, and find it in he Finder directory (MotionTemplates>Compositions>…)This is not a version compatibility problem (Motion 5.2.2 = FCPX 10.4.6). Any other reason why FCPX wouldn't automatically add the template in the spot for it (Title, Generator, Effect, or Transition)? Do I understand that I could store the templates wherever I want and the handshake between the two apps would include the file path? TIA
