AirPlay from PC desktop to Yamaha AVR

Airplay from iTunes library on Win 10 desktop to Yamaha RX-V479 receiver (both connected to the network) no longer works. After selecting Yamaha option in iTunes library, the following message appears: "The AirPlay device RX-V479 cannot be found on your network. Please verify network settings and AirPlay config or try another device". My PC & iTunesare updated to the latest software. The Yamaha is running the most recent firmware available. The firmware for the "discontinued" Yamaha AVR is updated to latest available for this model. Why has AirPlay from iTunes on PC stopped working? My router is NETGEAR R7000 and I don't know if this is a router problem or an iTunes issue. AirPlay from my iPhone XR and iPad mini 5 to the AVR work just fine. Its from my PC that no longer works.

Try these steps first
