Streaming limit bug

I use Apple TV only on 2 of my personal devices, still get an info when attempting to stream on one of these devices, that I reach streaming devices limit… never gave an access to other devices neither shared my login details. What is wrong?

What are you trying to stream? Is this about Apple TV+, or purchased iTunes Store content, or rented iTunes Store content, or a third party streaming service? Each may have different limits.

Do you share this service through Family Sharing? Then the limit for simultaneous streams is for the whole group.

Also check to which devices you are signed in. Check your Apple ID device list to see where you're signed in - Apple Support

No family sharing, and as mentioned only two devices are logged in.


It happens whenever I attempt to watch something on my non apple laptop, and for some reason just after trailers, the screen is black and not streaming anymore. After few refreshing of the page I get this box info about streaming device limits… Always had an issue with watching Apple TV out of the app, but after some struggles (refreshing page) i was always able to use the service, from yesterday it’s totally unusable (once the box appears on my laptop, I’m no longe able to stream on my iPad as well)
