I am trying to export to DVD using FCP 10.5 on imac Big Sur and keep getting this error:
DVD: The setting “Dolby Digital” uses software that is not installed or may no longer be supported. (Missing Compressor Plug-in)
I've restarted, re-downloaded Compressor app, deleted render files, copied/pasted into new sequence...
I am able to share/export any other method.
Help, please.
Go to Applications>Final Cut Pro.app and right/control click to reveal the Show Package Content:
Then Contents>Plugins>Compressor>CompressorKit.bundle:
If it's not there you may need to download a fresh copy of FCPro.

To clarify:
Are you sending the job to the Compressor App from within the FCPro File>Send to Compressor menu, opening the Compressor App:
Or
Are you using a canned FCPro Export type that bypasses opening the Compressor App?
What are the specific settings involved?

I am using the ‘share’ option to DVD within FCP, (instead of master file or YouTube export).
