Missing widget options when building my Lock Screen iOS 16

Super frustrating - I do not have weather as an option for my Lock Screen - my widget options are batteries, calendar, clock, fitness, news, reminders, stocks.

I am used to the method of long pressing an icon until it wiggles to edit but it is not an option. I do have weather on my Home Screen (I thought maybe there could be a relationship between the two).

Thanks!

Hi ranch2709,

Thanks for posting in Apple Communities.

We understand that you want to add a Weather widget to the Lock Screen and would like to know how to edit them. When you touch and hold the Lock Screen, you'll be able to customize it with available widgets and then edit with the proceeding instructions.

Touch and hold the Lock Screen until the Customize button appears, then tap Customize.
Tap the box above or below the time to see the widgets that you can add to your Lock Screen.
Tap or drag the widgets that you want to add.
Tap Done.

You can remove a widget by tapping on the minus sign that appears on the widget.

To edit the widget, tap on hold it. The quick actions menu will appear. Choose Edit Widget and change to your desired preferences.

You can find all of these steps listed in How to add and edit widgets on your iPhone.

Regards.
