After upgrading to iOS 16 keep getting error -9937 on MacBook Pro

There already various messages on this issue, many users facing the same problem since the iOS 16 upgrade.

It's the same for me. And 16.0.2 didn't change anything.

The error seems to be appear regardless the type of iPhone, computer and its system software.

Hopefully Apple solves this a.s.a.p.

I send images and video temporarliy via mail to get them on my desktop and import them from there in the Photo app.

But this detour takes a lot of time.

Hi, I had the same problem. After I spent whole afternoon chating with Apple support, they couldn't tell me whats wrong.

So I have had download an ipsw file of iOS 15.7 (you can find it on the web), restored iPhone and downgrade back from iOS 16.0.2.

Everything works fine now.

Try this or wait hopefully for a new update.

I can go to iCloud.com and download the picts and then import to Photos, hopefully this is a temporary workaround and 16.1 will solve this issue.

Wow I thought something was broken on my phone but after reading this I realized that ever since I updated my iPhone 12 to iOS16. I too, am having the "com.Apple.ImageCaptureCore error -9934" whenever I plug my phone into my Macbook and import photos to Photos app. Must be something buggy in iOS16 because I also am not getting AirDrops when I am sending it over, it takes so long for it to appear on my device and sometimes never showing up at all.

Same problem after upgrading to ios 16 and then still occurs after update. This occurs on both iphone X and 14. Thought initially it was the new phone producing images incompatible with old macbook pro but I see others are having the same issue! I am very tidy with photos so fix please Apple! If i find a fix i'll post it.

16.0.3 did not fix the issue for me. Hopefully 6.1 does. I have also noticed that when syncing my phone to iTunes, it syncs songs that are already on the iPhone, sometimes over 100 songs. Not sure if that is related.

I am having the same issue and unfortunately the instructions in this link don't fix the problem.

Same here. Of interest, I can import my photos with no trouble at all, to my Windows machine.
