How to resend verification code for apple pay

hello,

I recently just added a card to my wallet. I choose to verify the card by a code but I did not notice that there was a 10 minute expiry time. I cant seem to find how and where to resend the code. Thanks

this was a copy pasted question from a post in 2017. it is 2022. latest iphone 14 pro max (that was around 2200 euroes) - and the same exact issue occured - no way to resend verification code there isn’t a resend button

- I was transferring everything from iphone 12 pro max to 14 pro max - it asked to enter the card cvc - I did, but the codes were sent to the iphone 12 sim card (it was still there) - so now I probably have to remove 3 cards and redo the whole processs - I mean, first world problems - but clearly a UX fail at least 4 year in a row - at least change the text to say (remove and redo the entire process) instead of me googling how to do it the easy way and waste more time

.. other than that the transfer process did everything right - apart from having a black screen when it finished - apparently it also updated to ios 16, and something froze it - luckily I remembered the old hardware reset thing - pressed all buttons for 10 sec or more until it rebooted (it’s probably just volume and power button)..

oh and the new 48mpix photo is turned of by default

I removed all of my cards and added them to the wallet again and it works.

Is it possible for apple developers to remove the erroneous message of resend verification because in practical terms it means remove and add cards again - it's very annoying to google on how to resend verification as it seems there should be a button there

- there isn't the only solution is to remove cards and redo the whole thing - can you make sure this is the right answer people get as it just takes away more time trying to figure out why there is no resend verification button..
