Universal clipboard not working

My universal clipboard isn't working between my mobile devices and my MacbookPro. It works between my iPhone and iPad, but not between my iPhone and Macbook or my iPad and Macbook. I created a new user on my computer to test it and it works on that new user, but I'm not sure why it's not working on my primary user.

Hi mtho2014,

We understand that the Universal Clipboard feature isn't working as expected between your iOS devices and Mac. Be sure to follow the steps below and use the information in the article to correct the issue.

  1. Each device is signed in to iCloud with the same Apple ID.
  2. Each device has Bluetooth turned on.
  3. Each device has Wi-Fi turned on.
  4. Each device has Handoff turned on.

Use Universal Clipboard to copy and paste between your Apple devices

Have a nice day.

Hello mtho2014,

Thank you for confirming those steps. What year was your Mac made? You can check from the Apple menu  in the corner of your screen, choose About This Mac. Are you able to use any of the other Continuity features with the Mac? You can see other features at: Use Continuity to connect your Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple Watch - Apple Support

This will help us isolate the issue.

Cheers!
