Apple Mail Issue
Some emails that I receive have recently started to include URLs in the body of the email. The Washington Post is the most consistent culprit. Have attached two screen shots. Any ideas?

Well, a few things. One, it is a new behavior for me - started just a month or two ago. Two, it is only some emails - for example, html emails from other news sites don't exhibit this and instead show the link as blue text:
Three, from time to time the additional text overlays the actual text, making it a bit harder to read:
