in my iphone storage i only have ios 16 downloaded no others but when i try install ios16 (iphone xsmax) it says i’m no longer connected to internet

Welcome to Apple Support Communities. If you're have issues updating over-the-air, we'd recommend creating a backup, and update using a computer.
