Should I contact the police about my missing delivery?

Yesterday morning I ordered iPhone 14 Pro Max, clear case, and screen protector at 8:27am . I used the 2 hour delivery option and waited. Once I got the notification that my delivery is on the way, I went on the Apple store app on my iPhone XS to watch the driver on the map come to me. The car icon on the map came all the way to my apartment building. At 11:36am it shows the car came into the street, slowed down and stopped outside where my apartment building is. Two seconds after the car stopped moving on the map, suddenly the map closed by itself and a new pop up came out saying my order have been delivered. Which makes no sense because the instructions given by Apple says I or someone have to be home to sign for it. I waited at home, by the door for 20 minutes, the delivery man never came to knock on my door to give me my stuff, never called or texted me neither. The guy just disappeared with my stuff the moment he stopped his car outside my building.

I called Apple and found out the 2 hour delivery thing is done with Uber Eats. So then I had to call Uber Eats. I have no info of the driver saved because the moment the driver marked my delivery as delivered, things like his name, profile picture, phone number, and even the map and everything is all gone. Even when I go on Apple store on my computer and click on Track Shipment, it just shows a blank page that says "Enjoy your order! Thanks for using Uber Eats." on top left corner. Why Apple or Uber Eats don't save any of the drivers information just incase something goes wrong(like what I experienced) is beyond me.

I don't know what's going to happen. Both Apple and Uber Eats just told me to wait, but didn't tell me how long. What do you guys think? Should I go file a report at the police station or just try my best to wait patiently?

UberEats does know the person who was supposed to deliver your items and so does Apple so you're not knowing that is not an issue. I would wait for 3 business days and then call whoever you spoke to at UberEats. If they are not forthcoming call the police and file a report. Despite your instructions UberEats has their own rules regarding deliveries which may not allow their drivers to get a signature.
