If I look at Settings, General and Network. It shows the network name and signal strength as being high. Yet it keeps coming up as not connected to network when I try to watch anything on AppleTV.

If the IP address of the Apple TV box is listed as 169.254.x.x, then the DHCP function of the router wasn’t able to give a proper functional IP address to the Apple TV box. Restart the router for a fresh attempt.
