Apple TV app is horrible It’s messy and disorganized. It’s not easy to find the episode line up. The Morning Show says there is behind-the-scenes content to watch after the show but it is non-existent. The rewind and forward are hard to control. The show ends and a bar appears with the next episode or other shows without allowing the viewer to watch the end. It’s extremely disappointing that a tech company like Apple still has not managed to improve their TV app and make it more user-friendly even after years of complaints.

How do I search for a specific film on Apple TV +? i would like to see if my subscription to Apple TV+ will allow me to see a particular film. But I don’t see any way to search. It’s just row after row of what Apple TV thinks I want to see or perhaps just wants me to see. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Apple TV - purchased TV shows not showing up in “Up Next” I noticed after updating my Apple TV devices, my iPad and iPhone to the latest OS release 2 days ago, that shows I’ve purchased from Apple are no longer showing up in the “Up Next” area of the Apple TV app. If I search for these shows and manually add them to Up Next, I’m not presented with the option to watch the purchased versions - just the versions that are available through streaming channels. I’ve confirmed this behavior with the TV app across all my Apple devices so I’m thinking that the 16.6 update broke something.

If alternate versions are offered as part of “iTunes Extras”, then your’ll need an Apple device.

iTunes Extras aren't available in the Apple TV app on smart TVs and [third party] streaming devices.
