iPhone 12 mini NFC automatic detection

Hello community,

I am using an iPhone 12 mini, and trying to read an NFC from a camera and a speaker to connect to these devices. Ideally, I'd like to connect without opening an app by just approaching to the NFC tag.

As far as I understood, the iPhone 12 does allow reading NFC without app, however mine can only read the NFC if I use a specific app (like Imaging Edge Mobile for the camera).

Is there any way to make it read automatically? Or is my understanding wrong somewhere?

Below are some info of the iPhone and NFC

iPhone: iPhone 12 mini, iOS15.6.1

NFC: ISO 15408 EAL4, Sony Felica RC, Type F (both camera and speaker) (readable using NFC tools)

I know it's a special type of NFC, but I saw that the iPhone 12 supports NFC type-a, b and f.
