Hey Skapparati,

Since it's only that one app, we know the issue isolated to it. Have you checked the app settings to see if there's one for notifications? Many of times, the app itself has notification settings.

If you're not sure where to check, you may want to reach out to the app's developer support. Here are the steps to locate their information:

  1. "Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
  2. Search for the app, then tap it. If you can't find it, tap the account button  or your photo at the top of the screen, tap Purchased, tap "Not on this [device]," then tap the app.
  3. The app's product page appears. Scroll to the Ratings & Reviews section, then tap App Support. If you don't see App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID."

You can also review the steps here: How to contact an app developer.

If you continue to experience the issue, you may want to remove the app and then install it again.

Take care.

Hey Skapparati,

Thanks for letting us know. Do you have an Apple Watch? It may be that notifications are going to the Apple Watch instead. If you don't have an Apple Watch, make sure that in Settings > Sounds & Haptics the tone is set to an Apple-approved tone. This will help us isolate the issue a little more.

Also make sure that any VPN is turned off. VPN or security software could be affecting the connection to these apps. Check these settings:

Settings > Safari > Content Blockers

Settings > General > VPN

Keep us updated!

Skapparati,

Thanks for sharing that info. From here, we'd like to have complete some other general steps. Kindly turn off all impacted devices for at least 1 minute. Then test notifications again for the apps you mentioned.

Turn iPhone on or off - "Simultaneously press and hold the side button and either volume button until the sliders appear, then drag the Power Off slider."

Restart Apple Watch - "Press and hold the side button until the sliders appear, tap , then drag the Power Off slider to the right."

If you're still seeing issues with notifications after the steps above, we want to have you disable notifications for the apps on your iPhone under Settings > Notifications > [choose the affected app(s)], then re-enable them.

From here, if you continue to not receive notifications from multiple apps, we'd recommend reaching out to Apple Support.

Take care!

Hi Sparks0829, tks for the quick response. My trouble with push notification it happen only (it seems) with Rollup app for the door smart peephole. I changed recently the smart peephole with a new update version: with the previous one … no problem. What sound me stranger is that the connection works, but the phone show me the notification if-and-only-if the Rollup app is active.

Hi Racheals14, I performed the switch-off/on on both iPhone & Apple Watch: no way! The same with disable/re-enable of the push notif on the Apps. At the end of October I’ll receive my iPhone 14…may be something will change. The stranger thing is that up to IOS 15 (I do not remeber which vers) all things go well. Don’t care & tks for trying to help me. BR
