Installation failed can't install the software - A software update is required to connect to [iPhone]
Does anyone know the answer to this issue? The required software update process downloads up to a point and gives the "Installation failed can't install the software" message. MacOS Monterrey 12.6, iPhone 12 Pro using one or two versions before 16. Ruled out MacOS software updates, using original apple cable, tried both USB ports on the Mac, forced restart the iPhone, stopping just shy of going for third party software, since this is Apple: I expect there to be a solution for this as soon as someone figures out what the problem is...
