I just received the new iPhone 14pro and to my dismay it is having major issues focusing on barcodes that I am scanning. Is there a fix to this? It’s sad the cheap XR I had previously had no issues with this at all and when I get the “better” camera it can’t focus on a barcode.

Yeah I'm getting the same issue. Can't focus on any objects near the camera on 3rd party apps. It even happened on the Apple Watch app. Had to manually enter the code to link my Watch with my phone. Saw the same issue in Safari when I had to take a photo through a website.. Seems the focus only works when directly using the Camera interface
Having same issue, unable to pair Apple Watch, tried to scan barcodes using Best Buy app but camera won’t focus unless I hold the barcode at arms length
