Battery health drop 1%

After updating my 13 pro max to ios16 ..battery health drps 1% …it is a 3 months old device

And your battery health is going to continue to decline iOS updates or not. Batteries are consumable parts and with every full cycle battery charge, battery health declines little by little. This is what batteries do - ALL BATTERIES. A 1% decline in 3 months is nothing to be concerned with. It is common to see a 1% - 2% decline in battery health per month. When battery health declines to 80% or less, which it will do, it will then be time to pay Apple to replace the battery.


Follow the suggestions in this link about Maximizing Battery performance and stop worrying over something which is normal, expected and can't be stopped --> Batteries - Maximizing Performance - Apple
