Just got my 14 pro and wanted to watch the YouTube TV app. App freezes up and I can’t watch anything and the phone got really hot on the back near the volume keys. Did something change with iPhones 14 pro that could be causing this, is it an iOS 16 issue or did I possibly get a wonky phone?

(1) Try and 👉 Force Close the YouTube TV app and then open it again and see whether that resolves the issue
(2) If NOT, then Try and Force Restart your iPhone EXACTLY as shown below and see whether that resolves the issue:
(3) If the above does not resolve the issue, then delete the YouTube TV app and then install it again from the App Store. See whether that resolves the issue.

I do not have any other recommendations except that to ensure that your iPhone and the YouTube app are updated to their respective latest versions. If this thing continues, then it is more than likely, a software issue and not a “wonky” iPhone.

Tried your advice and still having the same issue after deleting the app and reloading it.
It’s a brand new iPhone14 pro. I am running iOS 16. 😩
