Recent Album and organazing images

So, I am back to iPhone again after some time on Android, and old problem is still here. Recent album. I get it, sor of...

I have imported a ton of imagases from my previous devices over past few years, after I took about 100 images with my new iPhone. Now, all those 6000+ imported images are randomly organised in the recent album. So I have at the top around 100 iagases taken on my current iPhone following with completply un-organised imported images and then again new pictrures taken with my current iPhone after import. And I can live with that, as if I open Photos app, I can browse imported pictures as I sort them by albums according to the device they were taken on and I can see all imagaes sorted by date in Library, so far ok...

But, if I am to send image taken with my current iPhone, via WhatsApp or upload it somwhere, it is really difficult to get to them if they are images taken before I imported the rest, as I need to scroll trough 6000+ of them to get them. I think, seriously...

There migh be solution to place these 100 imagaes in some new Album, but to do it just to justify this, make no sense.

Why is this still so difficult to sort out? Why Recent album needs to be suc a pain in the a**? Why there cannot be one album for Camera shoots only like on other devices? One for Downloads, one for Screenshoots and so on, next to the messy Recent one?
