Location history

I found very useful and helpful Timeline from Google maps app. When I get my iPhone 13 Pro Max at January 1st this year everything works perfect. From February 4th my timeline doesn’t work. I can’t see it in Google maps menu, there is no data in timeline from February 4th. I have location services turned on, Google maps have grant Location services to Always. Location history in Google maps has turned ON, but under devices my iPhone is faded and its says - Location history is not available for this device.

I try my Google account on Android device and it works. Also try

  • restart location on iPhone
  • deleting Google account
  • reinstaling Google maps
  • restarting phone
  • changing passwords
  • deleting cache and cookies

Non of this works. Any idea how to fix this?

Sorry on my not so well English.

Hi DejanSorabi,

After reading your post, we’re still unclear about the type of support you seek. Would it be possible for you to provide us with some clarity so that we can better understand the issue that you’re experiencing? From what we read, it sounds like you’re having a problem with Google Maps. Is that correct? If so, we recommend that you reach out to the app developer to check for any specific troubleshooting they may have.

How to contact an app developer - Apple Support

Contact the developer of an iOS, iPadOS, or watchOS app

1) Open the App Store on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.

2) Search for the app, then tap it. If you can't find it, tap the account button  or your photo at the top of the screen, tap Purchased, tap "Not on this [device]," then tap the app.

3) The app's product page appears. Scroll to the Ratings & Reviews section, then tap App Support. If you don't see App Support, make sure that you're signed in with the correct Apple ID.
In the App Store on iPhone, the App Support button is at the bottom of the app's page.

If this is not the issue that you’re experiencing, please provide us with more information regarding the exact problem you’re having with your iPhone, and we’ll do our best to help you find a solution.

Thanks for using the Apple Support Communities.

Cheers!
