Mail Toolbar

How can I change the position of tabs in the Mail toolbox? Specifically want to move the read/unread tab to the far left? Using MacOs Monterey 12.5.1 on a MacBook Pro

Mail preferences screen size can't be modified; green button missing The green button is missing from the Preferences screen, so I have a very wide screen which can't be modified in size. OS 12.7. This is not a new problem.

search bar on apple mail on MacBook not there i have never had a search bar on my MacBook . Why ? When i go to filter and do all the things im told to do like dragging the search bar in to the layout and clicking on icon and text it still doesn't appear . When i use customize tool bar the search is there but still doesn't appear on my mail.

FWIW, you cannot move them to the left of "Filter".

Thank you. Don’t like it because I normally don't use full screen mode and have to click and drag to mark mail as read or unread. Oh well.

I'm not sure what you mean but you're welcome. I never use Full Screen.
