Upgraded 13 Pro to 16 and the weather wallpaper (as in "Astronomy and weather") isn't showing on the menu. I have this installed on my another phone (12) and wanted it on this as well. It's simply not there to be selected.

Just sorted this on my wife’s phone. You need the Apple default weather app even if you’re not going to use that app for the weather.
needed a restart.
also check in setting - location that the weather app you use is allowed to use your location whilst using app/widgets.

Sorry, I don't know which wallpaper you mean. Not one of these?
The one I want (and installed on my other phone) is the first one under Weather & Astronomy. The thing is, on my 13 Pro, that set of wallpapers is labeled simply "Astronomy". No "Weather."
I asked you to be moved here. Hopefully someone here will have a better answer for you.
I’m having the same issue! No weather option with my astronomy wallpaper area.
I upgraded to a new iPhone 14 Pro Max. I restored my iCloud backup to the new phone. Still no weather wallpaper. Upgraded iOS to 16.0.1; still no weather wallpaper.
Same here. My brother bought same iphone14 a week before I bought mine (same carrier as well). He has the weather option. I only have the astronomy option.
